Tilda rice etchings.
I have been considering the movement of Rohingya muslims from Burma. Rice is the staple diet of South East Asian people especially in Sri Lanka and Burma. To me it seems so fundamental our need to migrate to safety and in search of food.
The Tilda packet of rice symbolises the loving wholesome image of rice. I was drawn to the packaging with its heart shaped hands on a silvery blue background.
Symbolic healthy loving and promising the familiar taste of food.
