This painting incorporates collage, oil painting and lino cuts. It is about boat people crossing the English Channel. I feel that it’s daunting and disorientating crossing in the night. The feeling is like searching for an answer in the night.
These perilous journeys are undertaken at great risk. It shows the desperation people are under and thier vulnerability.
